Geological Guide to Barrow


(Barrow Scree Slopes of the Kirkstile Formation) - 2004

On the eastern faces of Barrow, the Kirkstile formation can be seen in scree slopes, on the southern faces there is a fault in which volcanic rocks from the 'Borrowdale Volcanic Group' yield a variety of minerals.
